We recognized that you are making a significant investment for your child to receive a private Christian education. We are committed to partnering with families through 金融援助 and discount opportunities.
LCS desires for Christian education to be accessible for families of all income levels and invites families to explore the following 金融援助 options.
Need-Based 金融援助
Due largely to the generosity of our donors, Lakeland Christian School is pleased to provide need-based 金融援助 to eligible applicants. Families can apply for tuition assistance once they go through the 招生 process. We use a third-party 金融援助 provider to determine eligibility.
Supplemental Scholarship Programs
We also accept scholarships through the State of Florida on a limited basis. Families can combine these supplemental scholarships with need-based financial assistance to offset the cost of tuition. Below are some of the scholarships we accept:
Family Discounts
LCS is pleased to offer a multi-child discount. A family’s second child receives a $1,250 discount, and the third child receives a $2,500 discount. Each additional child receives a 50% discount on tuition.
*Multi-child discount does not apply to part-time students or the Discovery Program.
Notice to parents enrolling students under the FES-UA scholarship: Please note that our school accommodates students with disabilities in accordance with the requirements under federal and local law. 然而, your child may not necessarily receive the types of accommodations or related services that your child may be entitled to receive at a public school as public schools have different obligations under the IDEA. The IDEA does not apply to private schools. We are happy to have a conversation with you about the accommodations that your child may need and be entitled to at our school.

Families at LCS can expect to pay:

LCS is pleased to offer need-based 金融援助 to qualified families. New families in need of assistance can apply for 金融援助 as a part of submitting an application for admission to the school. Returning families can access the application via their portal. We utilize a third-party company – SSS – to assist in determining 金融援助 eligibility.
- Approximately 20% of our students are recipients of a need-based 金融援助 award.
- Many of our 金融援助 awards cover 50% or less of tuition.
- Financial aid awards are granted on a yearly basis and are based on continued demonstrated need.
- Financial aid is determined using a projected out of pocket tuition for the upcoming school year (tuitionless any discounts and/or state scholarships)
- We do not offer 运动, 学术 or fine arts scholarships.

LCS 金融援助 can be coupled with any of the state scholarship awards mentioned below. You are able to apply for financial assistance to LCS once you have started applying for admission to the school. The application process involves completing the application questionnaire and uploading prior year tax documents. New families will be notified of their 金融援助 award along with their admission acceptance decision.
Supplemental Scholarship Programs
In addition to the need-based 金融援助 program, LCS accepts scholarships through the State of Florida. These scholarships can be coupled with LCS 金融援助 and can be used to offset the cost of tuition and fees. We accept awards through Step Up for Students and the AAA Scholarship Foundation.
